Getting started with HEA Connect

Home screen
Research
Includes all reports, data and analyses available to you, as per your Service Level. You can filter the content by type or publishing date.

Events
All events organized, facilitated or attended by HEA are available here. This folder also contains a wide variety of industry events relevant to companies covered by HEA.

Favorites
Includes all reports marked as Favorite. On your mobile device, content in this folder is available even when you are offline.

Messages
Your Ask HEA conversations are in here.

My channels
Channel is a smart folder containing all reports meeting the parameters you specify.
Research
Research tab lists all research reports, data and analyses available to you within the scope of your Service Level.

• Click on the report title to open the report viewer

• To mark a report as Favorite, click on the star next to the title of the report.

• Reports marked as Favorite will also be available in offline mode in the HEA Connect iOS app.
Events
Events tab displays all events available to you within the scope of your Service Level.

• Click on the event title to the left of the calendar to open the event viewer

• To mark an event as Favorite, click on the star next to the title of the event.

• Events marked as Favorite will also be available in offline mode in the HEA Events iOS app.

• Toggle between Calendar and List views by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner the event list.

• Click on right or left arrow to move between months.

• Click on the month in the calendar header to see more calendar options. From here you can jump directly to a specific year or month. Every time you click on the bar between the two arrows in the calendar, it will "zoom out" the time scale.

• Click on a day with the blue frame around it in the calendar to move to a Daily view. In Daily view, the list on the right to the calendar will show events taking place on that day.

• Return back to Monthly view by clicking on the button above the events list.
Messages
This screen is composed of three folder groups:

• Inbox - lists all of your conversations in reverse chronological order - newest on top.

• Sources - shows the origin of the conversation - Reports or Events.

• Archive - lists all conversations taking place last week or last month

• Click on a message to open the message viewer.

• Respond to a message by typing the text and clicking on Send Message.

The link at the top of the conversation window points to the origin of the conversation - report or event.
Channels
A Channel is a smart folder including all reports meeting the parameters you specify.

Clicking on New channel on your Home screen lets you define a custom Channel.

Channel Parameters

Channel name - enter a name for your channel before you save it.

1. Research and Events - Select specific Research and Events to be included in your channel. NOT selecting any specific items will include ALL Research and Events in the channel.

2. Industries - Select specific Industries to be included in your channel. NOT selecting any specific items will include Industries in the channel.

3., 4., 5., 6. E&P, Oilfield Services Companies, Midstream Companies, Basins - If you want to include ONLY specific Companies or basins in your channel, please leave sections 1 and 2 above blank and select specific companies or basins in the sections below.

Email notifications - Enabling notifications will alert you every time a report is added to your channel.
